Black eye kidney beans Gravy





Cooking Time : 5 - 10 mins ( approx ) 


Preparation Time : 10 mins ( approx ) 


Ingredients : 

  • black eye kidney beans - 1 cup ( Soaked overnight or 6-8 hrs)
  • Onion -1 finely chopped
  • Tomato - 1 chopped
  • Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tspn 
  • Green chilli - 2
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1 tspn
  • Dhaniya Powder - 1 tspn
  • Mango Powder -1/2 tspn
  • Garam Masala - 1/2 tspn
  • Salt 
  • Mustard / Cumin Seeds - 1 tspn
  • Oil - 3-4 tbspn



 Steps :

  1. In a small cooker  when it is hot , add 3-4 tbsp of Oil .
  2. When the Oil is hot add cumin / Mustard seeds . Then add chopped Onion.
  3. When Onion becomes soft add ginger Garlic paste.
  4. And then add tomatoes and Green chilli. Let the Tomatoes cook for 2-3 mins. 
  5. Then add all spices and  1 Big glass of water.
  6. Let it cook for 2 whistles on medium flame.
  7. Once the cooker is ready to open , Open it and mash little kidney beans . This will make the gravy little thick.
Black eye kidney beans Gravy is Ready !!
