Wheat plain triangle Paratha



Ingredients :

  • Wheat flour - 2 cups 
  • salt - 2 pinches
  • water
  • Oil - 1 tspn
  • Flour for dusting -1/2 cup
Steps :

  1. Make dough by mixing - wheat flour , salt & water.
  2. Knead the dough nicely to make it soft and nice.The dough should not be very soft.
  3. Once the dough is kneaded , apply 1 tspn oil to the dough ball and keep it covered in the box for 20-30 mins.
  4. Later make balls of the dough . And roll it to small round shape. 
  5. Then apply very little oil with your fingers on 1/4th section of the round shape. 
  6. Fold in half this round shape and again apply little oil on 1/2th of the shape.
  7. Then again fold the shape in half. Now it will look like a small triangle.
  8. Roll it gently to make a triangle paratha.It should not be very thick and nor very thin.
  9. Put this paratha on a hot tawa. 
  10. When the paratha is cooked properly on both the sides , then apply little oil on each side.




Plain Paratha is ready to be served with any gravy or sabji !
