Rava Idli


Rava Idli is a quick & healthy breakfast / snack dish.When especially it is made out of MTR readymade pack. But definitely sometime I would like to make it from scratch.


Preparation Time - 5 mins

Cooking Time - 15 to 20 mins

Ingredients : 
  • MTR Readymade pack_Rava Idli mix- 1 small cup ( for 3-4 idlis )
  • Salt - 1 pinch 
  • Fresh Curd - 2 cups
  • Carrot - 1/2 grated fine
  • Cashew - for topping on idli
  • Oil - to apply on Idli plate

Steps:

1. Mix the ingredients in a bowl and keep it for 2-3 mins - Rava Idli  mix , curd , carrot , salt.
2. Again add 2 spoons of curd and mix nicely. The mix should be like a thick batter consistency.Should not be watery or very dry also.
3. Drop this mix in Idli plate and garnish it with little grated carrot and cashews.


4. Steam it for 15-20 mins in Idli Vessel. ( On Medium flame).

Rava Idli is ready to be served with Coconut or Mint Chutney !
